With the norwegian national day, 17 May, in mind, I have created a look for StyleTV that does the trick whether you choose to wear the national costume bunad, the LBD or a floral summer dress. Rosy and fresh with a golden dew combined with long, black sixties lashes are the key words for this radiant spring look!

STEP BY STEP:
1 Shiseido Eyelash Curlers
After prepping the skin with moisturiser, lip balm and eye cream, I curl the eyelashes with a good quality eyelash curling tong to open up the eyes.
2 MAC Eye Brows
I continue filling in empty gaps in the eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil.
3 Bobbi Brown Natural Brow Shaper
Once the shape and colour is perfect, set the hairs with a brow gel so that they stay in place.
4 Maybelline The Eraser Foundation
This new foundation from Maybelline gives a great finish, and the application tip makes it extra fun to use! (don't twist it too much, cause you will waste a lot of product and get a very heavy coverage!) Blend with the fingertips and the foundation will melt into the skin.
5 Jane Iredale Circle/Delete Concealer
Use a small brush and apply concealer around the eyes and on red spots. The pale colours in this litte concealer-wheel have yellow undertones and are brlliant on fair skin.
6 Isadora Glow Stick-Blusher in Rose Bud (applied on eyes with MAC Brush 217, then on cheeks with Armani Blender Brush)
This creamy stick is lovely on eyes and cheeks (and lips too!). Use a small blending brush and swipe gently across the socket line to create depth, then use a foundation brush and add a touch to the cheeks. It is always flattering to match either eyes and cheeks or cheeks and lips - it gives a balanced harmony to the face.
7 Dior Addict Lip Balm in Crystal Pink
A soft, moisturising lip balm with colour was applied to the lips. You don't have to use a brush every time, but I prefer to apply makeup with brushes when I do other people's faces!
8 Mascara Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
2-3 coats of mascara on the upper and lover lashes is all we need to get the sixties feel. Make sure you colour the lashes in the inner and outer corners too, and all the way down to the roots. Trust me, your eyes will get much bigger!
9 St Tropez Skin Illuminator in Gold
Final touch is a lovely golden highlighter. Added to the cheekbones and to centre of the face it gives your skin a youthful glow. You can also mix it with your body lotion, or just use it as it is on the visible parts!

Have a beautiful celebration fellow norwegians, and a beautiful spring to all my fellow make-up addicts too! ;)
