Step 1: Shiseido Shimmering Cream Eye Colour in BR306 Leather
This new creamy copper brown eyeshadow is one of my recent favourites. Apply onto the bare skin all around the eye and up just above the socket line. Soften the edges with a medium sized blending brush (don't wait too long, as the cream sets after a short while). Clean up the inner corners with a cotton bud (Muji does great mini ones).
Step 2: Dior Diorshow Liner Waterproof in Carbon 098
Frame your eyes further with a smudgeproof black liner such as the Diorshow Liner Waterproof. Apply all the way round, both to the upper and lower inner rim and on the outside very close to the lashline. Carefully colour in the gaps between the lashes too.
Step 3: Guerlain Ecrin 4 Shadows Long-Lasting Colors in Palette Blacks
I apply the dark shimmery grey shade on the bottom of the palette with a medium sized brush to create a soft bridge between the liner and the cream shadow. This step is crucial when you do smoky eyes, as it makes the colours harmonize and blend softly into each other.
Step 4: Clarins Instant Definition Mascara, Black
Finish with several coats of black mascara. The new mascara from Clarins is a favourite of mine, as it has a fantastic brush that you can use 360 degrees!
At the very end, the lips get a coat of the transparent, warm Clarins Rouge Prodige Lipstick in 123 Creamy Toffee.
